CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO SEYCHELLES

01.06.2021 - Since 25th March, the Seychelles has been open to tourists from all over the world, including the Czech Republic. For travel to the country, a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours before departure is required, as well as filling in the Health Travel Authorisation for entry permission through the electronic form available at: https://seychelles.govtas.com. When in the Seychelles, it is necessary to observe existing health measures - wearing face masks, distancing, washing hands, etc.

Given the current situation, the ban on entering Seychelles applies to citizens of India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Brazil and South Africa, as well as to all passengers who have transited through these countries in the previous 14 days before entering the country.

Seychelles open on 25 March 2021!

19.03.2021 - In connection with a successful immunisation campaign, the Seychelles government has decided to reopen Seychelles on 25 March to visitors from all over the world, including Czech citizens. The only requirements are a negative PCR test, not older than 72 hours, and adherence to the existing health measures (wearing face masks, social distancing, regular sanitation, hand washing, etc.).

Given the current situation, the entry ban will continue to apply only to South African citizens. No other restrictions apply to visitors directly in the Seychelles.

Fund to support the Republic of Seychelles and the mitigation of impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic

04.02.2021 - The government of President Wavel Ramkalawan has set up the “COVID-19 Relief Fund” to revive Seychelles’ economy and mitigate the damage caused by the coronavirus pandemic to the country’s economic and social fabric. Solidarity with the island state and its people has already been expressed in the form of financial support by a number of embassies from around the world, including the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Seychelles in the Czech Republic.

Contributing to the Fund and thus assisting Seychelles in the fight to combat COVID-19 is possible through the bank account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of the Republic of Seychelles:

Reopening of Seychelles to Czech citizens!

18.01.2021 - In connection with the launch of the immunisation campaign, the Seychelles Government has decided to resume tourism activities and open its country to all foreign visitors, including citizens of the Czech Republic. The adoption of the new measures will be under way in the following two phases:

Until mid-March:
With immediate effect, entry is allowed to all visitors vaccinated against COVID-19, at least two weeks after receiving the second dose of the vaccine, and who show the relevant vaccination certificate and submit a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours. Unvaccinated visitors, who are currently admitted (1 and 2 country categories) are required to submit a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours. The entry ban at this stage continues to apply to unvaccinated visitors and visitors not coming from 1 and 2 country categories.

From mid-March:
Once the majority of the adult population in Seychelles has been vaccinated, the country will be open to all unvaccinated visitors. Only a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours and adherence to current health measures (wearing face masks, social distancing, etc.) will be required.
